Powerful Tools for Caregivers

An educational workshop for adult caregivers

Caring for someone with a chronic illness such as dementia, cancer, heart disease, Parkinson’s disease or stroke can take a toll on physical, emotional and financial health. 

Powerful Tools for Caregivers is an evidence-based workshop designed to help family caregivers gather self-care tools that:
  • decrease stress
  • improve confidence
  • enhance communication skills
  • resolve problems
  • identify emotional meaning
  • cope with difficult feelings
  • make tough care decisions.
