Neal Home

4393 Bay Shore Drive
Sturgeon Bay
Builder – Borkovetz Building and Supply – Remodeled 2006

The Neal home is an elegant, spacious 8,200 square foot, three story home that was remodeled in 2006, with a focus on being a "family home away from home" retreat. It is truly a family gathering place including 7 bedrooms and 6 baths as well as a custom home theater. The interior of the home is decorated in jewel tones with tropical accents. The color palette plus the blending of patterns, stripes and florals, and texture in the furniture and wall coverings is evident throughout the home.  The inviting family room opens onto a deck with a view of lush gardens framing the waters of Green Bay. The homeowners are delighted with their remodel that is large enough to accommodate large family gatherings of up to 22 members—simultaneously!

Johnson Home

7881 Hwy 42
Egg Harbor
Remolded 2015 – 2017

The Johnson home is an open concept 2,800 square foot home nestled in the heart of Egg Harbor and is entrenched in rich history. The home was originally known as the “Bridge” which was a coffee shop and bookstore in Egg Harbor. The current owners saw the building, recognized that it had great bones but needed a little “TLC”. The three-story coffee shop was transformed into a family dwelling with a clean, light, and airy feel, decorated with natural pastels with subtle pops of color. The second and third floors have floor-to-ceiling windows that accentuate a beautiful view of the Bay of Green Bay. What makes the home truly unique is a yoga studio on the ground level. They call their home “Serenity Bridge” which was inspired by the name of the coffee shop.

Helm Home

9023 Gibraltar Bluff Road
Fish Creek
Builder – Tielens Construction – 1995
Designer – Door County Nature Works

The cottage style Helm home is peacefully nestled in the woods with a breathtaking view of Green Bay and Chambers Island. The home features three inviting fireplaces, all made from Door County Fieldstone. The mantel in the great room was hand carved and gifted to the owner when the house was built.  Floor-to-ceiling windows open onto a spacious deck with a spectacular view. The home has an amazing blend of furnishings both old and new, including custom-built pieces, family heirlooms, and even some pieces with interesting provenance acquired during family travels. One-of-a-kind art, in particular, a unique painting steeped in history, is located in the “Grand Children’s Room” and is a “must see”.

Chomeau Home

10503 Townline Drive
Ephraim
Builder – Tim Halbrook – 2013
Designer – Julia Chomeau

The southern style Chomeau home is situated in an old orchard and includes a picturesque red barn that has been there since the 1940s.  This beautiful home was designed with southern style and architecture in mind and the design is consistent with Door County aesthetics—a blend of southern hospitality and Door County charm.   The home features over 3,200 square feet with 13 rooms that maintain the homeowner’s vision of being a welcoming retreat for family and friends. Visitors will enjoy the eclectic collection of art and unique family antiques throughout the home. The yard and gardens evolve every year. There is an abundance of natural grasses and flowering trees; lavender, which is a sign of hospitality, lines the front walk, inviting visitors.

Garden Door

4312 North Hwy 42
Sturgeon Bay

In the fall of 1996, 12 Master Gardeners created The Garden Door, located at the Peninsular Agricultural Research Station. The open doors at the entrance welcome and invite visitors to enter the garden.  Visitors will first notice the Bob Anderson Kaleidoscope which was commissioned especially for the garden.  Appropriately, a beautiful Rose Garden surrounds the kaleidoscope.  As visitors continue through the garden, they will discover many pieces of art where least expected.   Examples include a carving on top of a tool shed, mosaic benches in a tunnel, and an interactive sundial.  There are many delightful scents, sounds, and colors in this acre garden. In addition to annual beds, perennial beds, and a pond with Koi, visitors will also discover a Butterfly Garden, Tunnel & Sound Garden, Ornamental Grass Garden, Rock Gardens, Fairie Garden, a Gazebo, and a children's “Secret Garden”.

Artisan Pop-up Store (Located at Door Artisan Cheese Company)

8103 Hwy 42 N
Egg Harbor

Our Pop-up Store is a collaborative effort of small business and local shops offering their creative and unique items in one location. You will find treasures that include children’s clothing, culinary delights, one-of-a-kind jewelry, skin care products and much more.

A percentage of the day’s sales will go to the Door County Medical Center Dental Clinic. Please make it a point to stop by and see what the Pop-up Store has for you!
