“Drive Through” Now Available During Annual Flu Vaccine Clinics

Door County Medical Center (DCMC) is now offering a “drive through” option for adults to receive their flu vaccination from their car during annual Flu Vaccine Clinics.

Starting September 22, 2021 flu vaccine appointments are available at the Sturgeon Bay Campus, Stella Maris Church, DCMC Children’s Center, the DCMC Algoma Clinic and the DCMC Washington Island Clinic. The drive through option will be available at DCMC’s Sturgeon Bay campus and at Stella Maris Church in Fish Creek. Patients should schedule their flu vaccination appointment online via the DCMC Patient Portal or by calling the appropriate location.

For all flu vaccination appointments, patients should:

  • Be prepared to provide insurance and demographic information
  • Wear a short sleeved shirt
  • Wear a mask at all times
  • Stay home if you are sick

Additional guidelines apply to Drive Through Clinic appointments:

  • Leave pets at home
  • Must have no history of fainting with injections
  • Follow all signs and remain in your vehicle
  • Put the vehicle in “park” before staff approaches
