Door County Medical Center Welcomes Patients at New Sister Bay Clinic

On the afternoon of Monday, March 27, 2023, Door County Medical Center (DCMC) welcomes the first rehab patients to the new Sister Bay Clinic. The following Monday, April 3, 2023, the new facility will begin seeing all patients, marking both the first day of comprehensive operations and services at the new Sister Bay location.

Door County Medical Center’s Algoma Clinic: Serving Kewaunee County for 20 years

20 years ago, Door County Medical Center recognized a growing need for medical services in neighboring Kewaunee County. In the spring of 2001 the Algoma Clinic opened in what had once been a local grocery store.

Robyn Weilbaker, FNP-C Joins Washington Island Team

Since Fall 2019, Robyn Weilbaker, family nurse practitioner, serves as a full-time provider at Door County Medical Center’s (DCMC) Washington Island Clinic, alternating weeks with Dr. Beth Lux. Robyn’s role at the clinic is to help keep the community healthy with regular well visits and screening, visits for acute illnesses, and injuries like sprains and lacerations.

Telemedicine Services Expand at Door County Medical Center

Telemedicine services at Door County Medical Center (DCMC) now include TelePediatric critical care (TelePICU) and neonatal intensive care (TeleNICU), which allows physicians  at Door County Medical Center to access pediatric subspecialists with audio and video capability through their hospital partners.

Strong Team at Door County Medical Center – Algoma Clinic

Mark Fergus, APNP, FNP-BC will begin providing Family Medicine services at Door County Medical Center-Algoma Clinic beginning April 24th. Mark is from Green Bay and received his Masters Degree from Concordia University’s Family Nurse Practitioner Program. Mark is one of three health professionals, including Ellen Knipfer, NP and Dr. Beth Lux, to make the transition from DCMC’s Sturgeon Bay location to the Algoma Clinic this year.
