Professional Research Consultants Recognizes Industry’s Best

Door County Medical Center Inpatient Services recently received The Award of Distinction for Total HCAHPS (the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems, otherwise known as Patient Satisfaction Scores) Score and Overall Hospital Rating by national healthcare research leader, Professional Research Consultants, Inc. (PRC). PRC’s highest honor, The Award of Distinction, is awarded to hospitals who earned the highest top box score for key metrics during the 2018 calendar year.

Additionally, Door County Medical Center was recognized as a 4-Star in Emergency Department Services for Overall Quality of Care AND as a 5-Star in Inpatient Medical/Surgical Services for Overall Quality of Care.

The Excellence in Healthcare Awards recognize organizations and individuals who achieve excellence throughout the year by improving patient experiences, healthcare employee engagement, and/or physician alignment and engagement based on surveys of their patients, employees and physicians.
