Door County Medical Center (DCMC) and the Aging & Disability Resource Center of Door County (ADRC) invite you to participate in our first annual Northeast Wisconsin Job and Resource Fair for Individuals with Disabilities. During this event, participants can expect to engage in conversation with area employers and learn more about the resources and support local organizations provide to our disability community.
This will be the first job fair specifically designed for people with a physical, mental, cognitive, and/or developmental disabilities in Northeast Wisconsin.
“Door County Medical Center has worked hand-in-hand with the ADRC to make this event a reality,” says event organizer and DCMC Exercise Physiologist Adam Peronto. “We’ve had so many community partners across Door, Brown and Kewaunee County come together to support this event.”
The Northeast Wisconsin Job and Resource Fair for Individuals with Disabilities will feature Door County Community Foundation’s President & CEO Bret Bicoy as a keynote speaker and Wisconsin’s Secretary of Workforce Development Caleb Frostman as a welcome speaker.
“Coming together to support this event can positively impact the lives of the potential employees, enhance the companies for which they work and lead to economic benefits within our local community,” says Peronto. “We hope you can join us for this meaningful community event.”
There is no fee for event participation. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Please register for the event by Friday, October 4, 2019. To register, pick up a registration form at ADRC or call ADRC Director Jake Erickson (920) 746-2372 or Adam Peronto (920) 746-0410.
