R.I.S.E. is a six week, research-driven exercise and information workshop which empowers active older adults who are worried about falls through access to falls-prevention experts, strategies, and exercise in a supportive atmosphere.
People who want to remain active and fall free have an opportunity to reduce their incidence of falling through awareness, strength, and exercise. R.I.S.E. is a six week, research-driven workshop which empowers participants through access to knowledgeable local providers, approachable strategies, and hands-on exercises in a socially enriching atmosphere. Upcoming Sessions: Tuesdays, 1/7/2025-2/11/2025, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Door County Medical Center – Sister Bay Clinic and Rehab Registration is required by January 5th R.I.S.E. is a free workshop offered in collaboration between Door County Medical Center’s Medical and Therapy providers, and local service providers, including Peninsula Vision Care, Door County Emergency Services, the Door County YMCA, and the ADRC of Door County. Registration is required. This is not a drop in workshop; attendance is encouraged for the entire workshop.
