A day in the life of a Program Nurse (RN) can look like:

  • Collaborate with a small, interdisciplinary team focused on quality patient care and providing services ordered by a physician.
  • Ensure implementation of compliant therapeutic services for patients utilizing the program’s group, individual, and family therapy sessions.
  • As Program Nurse, provide excellent patient care, including intake assessments, fall assessments, and treatment plan development.
  • Work with kindness and accountability to enhance the quality of life for our patients.
  • Energetically deliver community education material to facility staff, local medical facilities, community members on the program, and the overall importance of behavioral health.
Requirements

Note:

  • Registered Nurse or LPN licensed in the state of practice required
  • Graduation from a state-approved school of nursing required
  • Associates or above required
  • Psychiatric Nursing experience preferred
  • Passion for working with Older Adults preferred

  • Provide therapeutic services for patients utilizing group, individual, and family therapy sessions to older adults in an intensive outpatient environment.
  • Collaborate with a small, interdisciplinary team focused on quality patient care and providing services ordered by a physician.
  • Lead treatment team meetings; develop and update the patient-centered treatment plan.
  • Participate in the development of community education for the local medical facilities and other community groups on the importance of behavioral health for all, including older adults.
  • Work with kindness and accountability to enhance the quality of life for our patients.
  • Produce compliant documentation in a prescribed timeline.

  • Licensure: License in Social Work or Counseling as recognized by the state; may include LISW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc. required
