Prepared Childbirth

We enourage all expectant parents to attend these classes.  Moms can attend with their partner or someone else who will be their labor companion.  It is recommended to come in the 6 - 8th month of your pregnancy.

Overview

We may have to change dates or cancel for unexpected reasons and will let you know if that should occur. All classes occur on a Saturday. The next scheduled date for 2018 is November 3rd.

Classes scheduled for 2019 are January 5, March 2, May 4, July 13, September 7, November 2.

You must register at least 7 days in advance of class date!

These classes are held in the Women's and Children's Health Center reception/lobby area on the second floor (use elevator adjacent to Diagnostic Imaging).  Sign up using the form above, or call the birthing center at 920-746-3595, if there is no answer call 920-743-5566 and ask for the OB nurse.  The cost is $25 for two people to attend.

The instructors are experienced OB Registered Nurses and/or Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant, helping you and your labor companion prepare for your birthing experience.  Refresher class information is available upon request.
