Emily Kraynak provides Behavioral Health services at Door County Medical Center Sturgeon Bay Clinic.

Emily received her undergraduate degree from Middlebury College in Vermont and her MSW from the University of Michigan. She is part of a military family, and she and her spouse have spent the last decade moving every several years. They are now happily settled in Fish Creek and are thrilled to be part of the Door County community. Emily has forever been a nature lover, and believes in the power of the outdoors to calm, soothe, and give us all perspective. She still can’t believe that she gets to live in this part of the country, surrounded by so much natural beauty.

Emily aims to make therapy a welcoming and non-intimidating experience. As a counselor she considers it an honor to hold space for her patients and to be a part of their growth. In her free time she enjoys reading, knitting, gardening, and (very slowly) hiking the many beautiful trails of the county with her 3 young children.
