Starting May 5th, every Wednesday at 6 p.m. Ellen Knipfer, NP from Door County Medical Center Algoma Clinic will lead a group walk. The walks are open to anyone who wants to get their heart rate up and connect with other community members.
Walks begin at the Algoma Wellness Center. The walks will take place rain or shine. In inclement weather, the walks will take place inside the Wellness Center, at which time masks will be required.
Ellen Knipfer, APNP, provides Family Medicine services at the Door County Medical Center Algoma Clinic. Ellen is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but has lived in Sturgeon Bay, WI for over 40 years, where she and her husband raised their family. She graduated from Concordia University's Advanced Practice Nursing program. In her free time she enjoys walking, biking, camping and spending time with her family. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

About the Door County Medical Center Algoma Clinic
The Algoma Clinic provides family medicine services, as well as specialty care services including OB/GYN, behavioral health, orthopedics and diabetic services. The clinic includes an onsite laboratory and diagnostic imaging capabilities. Daily walk-in appointments are now offered.
