January is Cervical Health Awareness Month

Cervical cancer is preventable, yet it is still killing thousands of women every year. In 2023, approximately 13,960 new cases of invasive cervical cancer were diagnosed and over 4,310 women died from cervical cancer in the United States alone.

Door County Medical Center’s Algoma Clinic: Serving Kewaunee County for 20 years

20 years ago, Door County Medical Center recognized a growing need for medical services in neighboring Kewaunee County. In the spring of 2001 the Algoma Clinic opened in what had once been a local grocery store.
