DCMC Covid-19 Mass Vaccination Clinics to Discontinue by End of April

We are proud to share that Door County Medical Center has now administered almost 10,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine, and fully vaccinated about 3300 people! We will schedule smaller clinics going forward as needed and will continue with second dose appointments as scheduled.

Door County Medical Center Covid-19 Vaccination Supply Update

Despite our best planning and intentions, DCMC has received confirmation that we will receive only 100 first doses for our clinics next week (2/15-2/19), which is well below our planned allocation. As a result, we have begun to contact by phone those who may be affected. We apologize for any inconvenience and will continue to monitor the situation week to week and will provide updates.

We want to take this opportunity to share what has been going on here at DCMC in conjunction with the State’s announcement on January 19 to include those 65+ in the phase 1B vaccination rollout.

COVID-19 Vaccinations For 65 and Over

On January 19, 2021, the State of Wisconsin approved Phase 1B of the COVID-19 distribution plan and announced that all individuals 65 years of age and older may begin receiving COVID-19 vaccinations as of January 25, 2021.
