Door County Medical Center is pleased to announce its plan to build a new Clinic and Rehab Services facility in Sister Bay. The plan received preliminary approval at the Sister Bay Planning Commission meeting on September 28.

Door County Medical Center’s Algoma Clinic: Serving Kewaunee County for 20 years

20 years ago, Door County Medical Center recognized a growing need for medical services in neighboring Kewaunee County. In the spring of 2001 the Algoma Clinic opened in what had once been a local grocery store.

Door County Medical Center Honored by The Chartis Center for Rural Health as a 2021 Top 100 Critical Access Hospital

Door County Medical Center (DCMC) has been named by the Chartis Group a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital for 2021. There are over 1,300 CAHs in the United States, so this recognition puts DCMC in the top 8% of all CAHs nationally.
