Many of us find maintaining a healthy weight a difficult task—weight goes on, weight comes off, we diet for a few weeks, then return to our old eating habits. This is especially true during the holiday season.

As a rural retirement destination, Door County has the oldest population, per capita, in Wisconsin. From an orthopedic standpoint, this certainly has implications. As we age, our bones weaken a bit. When the bone weakens to a certain level, this is known as osteopenia. When it weakens even further, it is defined as osteoporosis.

Door County Medical Center Plans New Clinic & Rehab Services Facility in Sister Bay

Door County Medical Center is pleased to announce its plan to build a new Clinic and Rehab Services facility in Sister Bay. The plan received preliminary approval at the Sister Bay Planning Commission meeting on September 28.
